Fees 2026

START STRONG PRESCHOOL - 2 days per week for ALL CHILDREN that turn 3 or older by 31st July. This initiative is funded by NSW Education Early Childhood Directorate.

Start Strong Preschool supports all children in the 2 years prior to formal schooling to enable us to offer reduced fees. Depending upon criteria met, fees range from $20 per day to $70.00 per day and will be discussed at your enrolment visit, or refer to the Fee Scedule listed below. Children that do not turn 3 by 31st July do not meet Start Strong criteria and will be charged the full rate of $70 per day.

START STRONG FEE RELIEF - is additional financial support for children in the Start Strong category above. A Fee Relief Declaration form must be completed (part of your enrolment application). If your child attends multiple centres (preschools or long day care) you must choose only 1 centre to claim fee relief, this should be discussed with each centre your child attends. Fee relief is not income based or linked to CCS, we will not ask you for financial information.

At Warragamba Preschool fee relief 2026 fully subsidises your preschool fees 2 days per week if you choose Warragamba Preschool as your Fee Relief service. If you choose another service as your Fee Relief centre fees are payable by you as invoiced.

Fees will be reviewed for 2027, there is no guarantee fees will remain fully subsidised. Fees may also be reviewed anytime throughout the year at the discretion of the Parent Management Committee.

FEE SCHEDULE 2026 (2 days per week enrolment, we do not enrol 3,4, or 5 days)

Equity Group $20 per day - this group are children who turn 3 or older by 31st July AND meet one of the following criteria:

1. Children with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background

2. Children from low income families (you must hold a current Centrelink Concession Card or Centrelink Health care Card listing all family members. Individual cards in the child's name are not acceptable) Copy of your card must be submitted to the preschool for verification. 

3. Children with a disability or additional needs (with supporting documentation or NDIS)

Non-Equity Group $45.00 per day - this group are ALL other children who turn 3 or older by 31st July and do not meet the criteria for Equity Group

Full Fee Group $70.00 per day - this group are children who do not turn 3 or older by 31st July

​CHILD CARE SUBSIDY (CCS) does not apply to any family using our centre. This is due to our term time operational hours.

​

Fees will be reviewed later in 2026 as funding information from NSW Education Early Childhood becomes available for 2027, families will be advised of any changes for next year. Fully subsidised preschool is not guaranteed to continue, fees may be implemented when necessary.

Holding Deposit 

Payable once your child is offered a placement prior to commencing. $200.00 per family or $150.00 per family if you hold a valid Centrelink Concession Card, Family Health Care Card or NDIS number. Holding Deposit is credited toward your final week's fees on giving a minimum 2 weeks notice of your intention to end enrolment. Any credit after your invoice is balanced will be refunded to you. Holding Deposit is non refundable if you do not give a minimum of 2 weeks notice of withdrawing your child.

If your child is enrolling under Start Strong Fee Relief your holding deposit may be waived.

Payment of fees 

Fees may be paid weekly, fortnightly, monthly or per term in advance.
 
Fees must be kept up to date at all times.
 
Fees are to be paid by direct deposit into our nominated bank account. We do not direct debit your accounts.
 
Fees are not charged on a public holiday or during term breaks when the Preschool is closed.
 
Fees still apply if your child is absent for any other reason.
 
Unpaid fees will be actioned via our collections policy.
 

 

Maintenance & Resources Levy

$50.00 per term per family. This assists with the upkeep of the building and grounds and purchasing resources for the educational programs. 

 

 

Hat Fee

$13.00 hat fee one off charge (re-charged if hat needs replacing)
 

 

Membership fee

All parents/carers enrolling the children are invited to join as members of WARRAGAMBA PRESCHOOL INC. An annual membership fee of $5.50 is charged per member to your account each year. It is crucial for preschool to continue to operate to have a membership base for our non-profit organisation. Members are invited to attend the AGM, usually in March, and vote for the volunteer parent management team.
